Dianna formed DC Conferences in 1987 in response to what she perceived was a market need for professionally run scientific and medical meetings. Her science background (BSc Biochemistry/Microbiology, Syd U) has helped DCC understand the needs of professional associations particularly in the areas of health and science.
Kate Ryall CEM
Conference Manager
Kate graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University UK, with a Bachelor of Arts in Event Management. Having worked in the UK as an event coordinator for 2 years she moved to Australia in September 2006 to further her career in event and conference management and joined DC Conferences in March 2007 as a Conference Coordinator. Kate is currently a Conference Manager and has recently received her accreditation from the Professional Conference Organisers Association as a Certified Event Manager.
Zareena Prinsloo
Conference Manager
Zareena has recently joined DC Conferences as a Conference Manager. She brings with her 7 years experience in the events and marketing industry. Her experience includes in-house corporate event management with top tier professional services firms, association based professional conference organising and venue business development.
Ting (Sunny) Sun
Accounts Manager
Sunny completed her masters degree in Commerce at the University of Sydney and worked for an accounting firm before joining DC Conferences in 2007. She is responsible for providing the financial reports and bookkeeping for the conferences and societies.
Matt Daly
Conference Coordinator
Matt joined DC Conferences in November 2011 as a Conference Coordinator having moved to Australia earlier the same year. Matt has over 10 years event management experience which includes working on high profile events in the fields of Education, Business and Government across the UK, Europe and Middle-East.
Tracy Hallen
Project Officer APS Secretariat
Tracy has a Bachelor of Economics degree from Macquarie University. Inspired by the work of the Australian Pain Society (APS), Tracy joined its Secretariat, DC Conferences, in February 2010 on a part- time basis. Tracy’s role as Project Officer includes assisting the APS to fulfil its strategic goals and enhancing membership services.
Melissa Best
Conference Administrator
Melissa started with DC Conferences in June 2011 to complete an internship with Southern Cross University as part of her Bachelor of Business in Convention and Event Management. Upon completion of her degree, Melissa was appointed as Conference Administrator with the DC Conferences team and in her short time here, has proven to be a valuable asset to the business.
Alex Robertson
Conference Coordinator
Alex has recently joined DC Conferences as a Conference Coordinator. Her experience includes in-house
event management with a large international Investment Bank where she was responsible for the coordination
of a number of events including large functions, internal team building activities and charitable days and events.
Alex brings with her valuable skills and knowledge from the corporate sector which will assist her greatly in her
role here at DC Conferences.
