Sunday 12 June - Welcome Reception at Crocosaurus Cove

Located in the centre of Darwin city and home to some of the largest saltwater crocodiles in captivity, Crocosauras Cove invites you into the world of the Northern Territory's awesome 'saltie'. This memorable experience is a great start to the conference with welcome drinks and a chance for delegates and sponsors to mingle with friends and colleagues. Your ticket cost includes all entry fees, canapés and drinks.

The Welcome Reception is included in the registration fee for full registrants.

Monday 13 June - Art Gallery Viewing Night

Time: 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Two local art galleries are opening up their doors for APS Conference Delegates to view the fine art within their galleries. They will be providing wine and cheese and an outstanding range of indigenous art to explore. This will be a free event and we encourage all delegates to attend, pre-registration is not required for this event.

Outstation Gallery provides a backdrop for a broad range of aboriginal artwork, sourced from Australian Aboriginal Art Centres. The gallery exhibits high quality artwork from emerging and established indigenous artists.

Tuesday 14 June - BBQ at The Darwin Sailing Club

Set amongst palm fringed gardens on the shores of Fannie Bay,The Darwin Sailing Club has breathtaking views of the harbour against magnificent tropical sunsets. This casual dinner will be a chance to unwind, relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Darwin at it's best. Your ticket includes transport and the BBQ, there will be a cash bar onsite for beverage purchases.

Time: 18.00
Transport: Buses will depart from The Darwin Convention Centre at the conclusion of the conference at 17.45 they will return to the conference hotels after the function.

Wednesday 15 June – Conference Gala Dinner under the stars at Skycity Darwin

Spectacularly set amongst tropical gardens and overlooking the Arafura Sea, Skycity in Darwin is the perfect location for dinner under the stars. Do not miss this chance to catch up with friends and colleagues to enjoy some fine Australian food, wine and entertainment. The Gala Dinner is a fantastic opportunity to see Darwin at it's very best!

Transport: Buses will depart from the conference hotels at 18.30and they will return to the conference hotels after the function.
