Fees and Information

To become a member please visit the APS website http://www.apsoc.org.au/join-the-society, and download the membership brochure to begin your application.  If you wish to join the APS before 14 February 2014 to qualify for the Early Bird discount, please return your completed membership application form as soon as possible, to email: aps@apsoc.org.au, or fax: (02) 9954 0666.

Please note that the processing time for full membership applications takes up to two weeks and you will be notified accordingly. To obtain a temporary membership number (for registration purposes) please call the APS Secretariat on (02) 9016 4343 the day after you submit your form.

Registration Inclusions

  • Registration for full registrants includes entry into all scientific sessions, the conference satchel, program and abstract book, attendance certificate, morning, afternoon teas and lunches on each day of the conference, Discipline Group Meeting and the Welcome Reception on Sunday 13 April.
  • Day registration includes entry into all scientific sessions, the conference program and abstract book, attendance certificate, morning, afternoon teas and lunch on the day of registration.
  • A registration fee for the Welcome Reception is applicable for registrants that are not attending the full APS meeting (i.e. APS day registrants, those registering for a Sunday pre-conference meeting only, and all accompanying guests).
  • All members of the New Zealand Pain Society (NZPS) are entitled to register at APS member rates. 

Payment

Payment can be made by personal cheque or bank draft in Australian dollars only. Cheques should be made payable to the Australian Pain Society Conference. Alternatively, payment may be made via MasterCard or Visa. Payment can also be made by direct transfer, please quote invoice number when transferring funds electronically.

Cancellation Policy

REGISTRATION:

If notification of cancellation is made in writing to the Secretariat prior to 7 March 2014, a full refund will be given (less a $150 processing fee). After this date no refund will be given, however a substitute delegate may be accepted. Cancellation of hotel bookings should also be made through the Conference Secretariat. 

ACCOMMODATION:


There is no guarantee that cancellations will receive a full refund as hotels reserve the right to charge a fee equal to one (01) night's accommodation or the full duration of the stay on any rooms cancelled.
