This day promises to enable you to gain a more in-depth knowledge of regional techniques to provide analgesia whilst also improving and opening you minds to the complexities we as health professionals encounter in our daily working environment that impact pain management.

Together we can better understand how obesity, sleep disordered breathing, renal and hepatic impairment, chronic pain, mental health and addiction issues impact on acute pain management. You will have the opportunity to hear the views of other professionals discussing strategies that will help to provide better pain management. Together we can look at best practice in discharge planning to prevent re admission and most importantly help prevent long-term chronic pain from developing.
