Continuing Coach Education Units

ICF grants one (1.0) Continuing Coaching Education Unit (CCEU) for every sixty (60) minutes of presentation time. The CCEU allocations for the ICF Australasia Conference are available on the program.

ICF policy states that individual CCEUs can only be granted to those who have participated in actual voice-to-voice, or live, program presentations, for the total presentation time. So, to be eligible for the CCE unit, you have to stay for the full session.

We ask to arrive promptly for all sessions. Should you arrive late, even only a few minutes, and the presentation has commenced, you will still be allowed access.  Unfortunately you will NOT be eligible for the CCEU allocation for the session.

Should you satisfy the CCEU requirement, please be sure to collect a CCEU certificate before leaving the session.  And in the case of ‘back to back’ Plenary sessions (Day 1 & Day 3) multiple certificates will be handed on conclusion of the Plenary program block.

Certificates must be collected from the Session Monitors before leaving the session/room.  Session Monitors will be stationed at the room entrances.

These certificates are GOLD!  They cannot be provided after exiting the session or at conclusion of the conference. You must retain this certificate as evidence of your CCE units for ICF Credential recertification.

Open Space

Continuing Coach Education Units for Open Space Conversations are self-administered in keeping with the guidelines provided by ICF Global.  More information will be available in the Open Space Conversation Areas.

Resource Development CCE units for any Open Space Conversations you participate in fall under

III. Self-Paced Courses and Other Self-Study under the ICF guideline for Accepted Sources for CCE record keeping http://coachfederation.org/credential/landing.cfm?ItemNumber=3326&

If you are considering applying for Resource CCE units for the Open Space Conversations you participate in we recommend you

(1) ensure your name is documented on the “Record of Conversation” for each conversation (at the end of the conference a document containing all conversations will be downloadable from the conference website)

(2) keep your own record (date/title/summary/relevance to your development as a coach)

Please note ICF Australasia is unable to administer, apply for or allocate CCE units for Open Space.
