ABSTACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR THE ISEI ECIA 2019 CONFERENCE
Call for Papers opens: 1 June 2018
Call for Papers deadline: 1 October 2018
How do I submit abstracts?
Abstracts must be submitted online via the conference website using the abstract submission portal.
What type of abstract can be submitted?
Abstracts can be submitted as individual Papers, individual Posters or a Symposium (group of 2-3 papers). Individuals can submit one Abstract as a presenting author for an individual Paper as well as one Abstract as a presenting author for a Poster presentation. In addition to an individual Paper and/or Poster, individuals may also be part of a Symposium. All abstracts are limited to no more than 150 words. Paper presentations will be limited to 15 minutes. Please note that if there is insufficient room for a submitted individual Paper, that Paper may be accepted as a Poster. The language for all Abstract submissions as well as presentations at the conference sessions is English.
What information is needed for an abstract submission?
The following information is needed for abstract submission online:
*Each paper submitted as part of a symposium (no more than 3) will need to provide paper titles and author information. The submissions for each symposium paper will then use the identical abstract text which should describe the overall theme of the proposed symposium, and further indicate an identical symposium organiser and title.
Who selects the abstracts and decides how they will be presented?
All submitted abstracts will go through a blind peer-review process carried out by the Scientific Program Committee. The Scientific Program Committee makes the final selection of abstracts to be included in the conference program.
When will submitters be notified about abstract acceptance?
Peer reviewed decisions will be made by the ISEI Scientific Program Committee no later than December 15, 2018. All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the conference website and conference app. Accepted presenters are required to register for the conference and all costs to attend the conference must be met from their own resources. More information about presentation and poster formatting will be provided upon acceptance.
What topic areas are of special interest?
As in past conferences, we will be seeking Abstracts addressing a wide range of topics in the field of early childhood intervention. Among the topics of special interest are:
