Dr. Gilly Munavalli is board certified in dermatology as well as fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatology surgery at the University of California- San Francisco. He is on the part-time faculty at the Johns Hopkins U. School of Medicine. His previous degrees include: Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Masters of Health Sciences from Johns Hopkins-Bloomberg School of Public Health, Doctorate of Medicine from Morehouse Medical School in Atlanta, Georgia, and internship training at the Mayo Clinic. He completed his dermatology residency training at Emory University School of Medicine.

Dianne Quibell, MD is a board certified practicing Internist in Wellesley Hills, MA, the Medical Director of MD TLC, Inc., and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Quibell has over six years experience combining internal medicine with medical aesthetics. She has been a lecturer and luminary for four laser technology companies since 2001. She has privately trained over 450 clinicians nationally in aesthetic laser/light based technologies, BOTOX®, microdermabrasion and fillers.

Dr Gabriela Vasilescu is one of Italy's leading cosmetic and aesthetic physicians. A pioneer in ultrasound fat removal and advanced body shaping using the new generation of hyaurlonic acid, Dr Vasilescu is a regular speaker at cosmetic congresses throughout Italy and Europe. Along with her busy clinical schedule Dr Vasilescu makes regular appearances on Italian television. Dr Vasilescu is a dedicated humanitarian volunteer who takes part in annual missions to South East Asia, South America and Eastern Europe.

Dr Bill Anseline completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science majoring in genetics and biochemistry at Newcastle University, New South Wales. Whilst working as a general practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer he solely founded Skin Alert, one of Australia's largest chains of skin cancer clinics. He currently practices and runs an independent skin cancer and medical skin repair clinic on the Gold Coast.

Dr Anseline is passionate about giving doctors the tools and knowledge to not only diagnose and treat skin cancer and sun damage but also to repair, protect and educate their patients.

His vision has been to develop a state of the art training and research program which provides a turn key medical skin repair and education system. The first of its kind concept allows doctors (both procedural and non procedural), access to non invasive medical skin repair treatments along with technical and educational support. Dr Anseline is well qualified to talk about Photodynamic therapy having travelled the world to research and develop protocols and has himself done in advance of 2,500 LED ALA PDT treatments.

Lee is currently Director of the Medical Physics Department at Westmead Hospital. His interests are in laser and ionising radiation safety, radiology, and nuclear medicine.

He has worked in hospitals in Australia and the UK, and during a research appointment in Germany, became interested in laser applications in medicine. He now lectures on medical laser technology, bioeffects and safety, is Chairman of the Standards Australia medical laser committee (which is responsible for AS/NZS 4173), and is involved with drafting international laser safety standards for the International Electrotechnical Commission as an Australian representative.

He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2003, and is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Medical Radiation Science at the University of Sydney and Conjoint Associate Professor in the School of Medicine, Universities of Western Sydney and Notre Dame Australia.

Dr Hooi is a Specialist Cosmetic Physician who initially trained in Emergency Medicine and later Law. Dr Hooi has been performing cosmetic procedures since 1990 but has been more fully involved in Cosmetic Medicine in the last 4 years. Dr Hooi brings to Cosmetic Medicine a thorough grounding in acute medicine and an approach that combines professionalism, an eye for detail and a preference for safe and effective treatments.

Dr. Kate Howsan graduated from University of Qld in 1991 and began working in the field of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Howsan practiced both in the public and private system initially in a full time capacity and subsequently in a part time capacity until 2008. Dr. Howsan was drawn to the cosmetic industry in 2001 and subsequently started a full time business focusing solely on injectables in 2003.

Dr. Howsan was one of the earlier cosmetic practitioners to begin using Sculptra when it was first introduced into Queensland in 2002. Dr. Howsan has continued to advance her skills within the injecting field of cosmetic medicine and uses advanced techniques to achieve the optimal results for her clients.

April Jorgensen is the 2009 Telstra Business Woman of the Year for Business Innovation and Managing Director of the Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science. This is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering vocation education in the new field of dermal therapies. In 2004, April commenced writing an Advanced Diploma curriculum,which entails theoretical and practical competencies in cosmetic treatments, such as intense pulsed light, laser and chemical peeling. Commencing the first year with only 20 students in 2005.

April now currently delivers online education to more that 200 online students across Australia and Internationally. April's active role in the business encompasses strategic planning, marketing and promotion coordination, student lecturer/assessor and compliance.

Dr Knudsen has 26 years experience in private practice with hair restoration surgery and has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Auckland. He is the current President of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, and the Past President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He has authored numerous book chapters and original articles on hair restoration.

Mr Jayson Oates is a fully qualified surgeon specialising in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery, particularly of the face. Mr Oates also performs all cosmetic facial plastic surgery including Facelift, Mini Lift, Nose Reshaping, Ear Surgery, Lip Augmentation, and Facial Implants. He also performs liposuction to the body.

Mr Jayson Oates is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and is the medical director of the Academy Facial Plastic & Laser Specialist clinic. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1990 and went on to train in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, finishing in 1997.

Interested in facial plastic surgery he joined The Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 1995 and The European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery in 1997. In 1998 and 1999 he continued his training by gaining further experience in facial plastic surgery in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. In 2005 Mr Oates was elected President of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Dr Stefania Roberts has had an interest in venous disease for the past 13 years. She is a Phlebologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology. Dr Roberts performs Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy and Endovenous Laser Ablation of varicose veins. She has an interest in venous mapping of lower limbs with ultrasound and performs microsclerotherapy.

Dr Thibault graduated in medicine and surgery at the University of Sydney and worked in General Practice for 11 years before specialising in Phlebology (treatment of varicose veins) and Cosmetic Medicine since 1988.

He is Past President of the Australasian College of Phlebology and Editor of the ANZ Journal of Phlebology.

He has written many peer reviewed articles in medical journals in the fields of cosmetic medicine and phlebology and has contributed to major textbooks on venous diseases. Dr Thibault is known for his pioneering work in the non-surgical treatment of varicose and spider veins and was the first Australian doctor to use the technique of ultrasound guided sclerotherapy to treat major varicose veins (as seen on 'Good Medicine').

Over the past 20 years he has built up a comprehensive cosmetic medical practice involving cosmetic improvement using minimally invasive nonsurgical procedures.

Godfrey is a clinical technologist and Laser Protection Adviser (LPA) studying for a PhD as an Innovation Scholar at the University of Wales in Swansea. He has published scientific and clinical papers in international peer-reviewed journals on the comparative measurement of IPL and laser devices.

Godfrey holds a Certificate of Competence in Non-Ionising Radiation Protection and supports over 300 private medical clinics and spas in UK using more than 350 laser and pulsed light devices. For the past five years he has run annual IPL workshops in Australia for healthcare professionals and therapists in private practice for hair removal, facial skin rejuvenation, acne management and the treatment of benign pigmented and vascular conditions.

He is a Fellow of American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) and numerous other European medical laser societies.

Dr Paul Varcoe M.B., B.S., FACP, MBA (Lausanne)
Dr Varcoe established The Leg Vein Clinic in Broadbeach in 1995 and is a Fellow and a past Vice President of The Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP). He has presented scientific papers at numerous ACP Meetings and has also presented at the World Congress in Phlebology in Italy. He has an ongoing role in the education of doctors in this field taking on trainees and preceptors.
