72 Kind William Road, North Adelaide (about a 10 minute walk from the Conference Venue)

Overview:
This workshop will introduce the participant to the potential for robotic technologies to assist in the rehabilitation of their patients with neurological disability. There is a major practical component with some participants able to access the robotic technologies to assist in understanding their application. This will include sessions with two robotic orthoses – the Lokomat and the Armeo. Insights into the potential benefits of robotic technologies, their integration into a clinical service and potential research focus areas will be covered in a series of short presentations. Practical demonstrations and the ability to engage in an interactive setting will be the focus of the workshop.

Presenters:
Head of Research, Women’s and Children’s Hospital: A/Professor Ray Russo
Mr Chris Innes-Wong
