COVID 19 has brought an extremely challenging time for many companies involved in conference management, events and tourism in general.
For DCC&A, the impact has meant the cancellation or postponement of around 20 conferences through 2020 and 2021. With international and national borders still closed and health restrictions in place it is still unclear when things will return to pre COVID conditions and the “new normal” will prevail. Fortunately, our association management team has been relatively unaffected.
DCC&A is proud to advise that our talented and experienced conference management team is still working and has been busy preparing for the future; becoming proficient in managing hybrid and virtual conferences, exhibitions and webinars and upskilling in many areas so that when we are back working at full capacity again we will be better prepared than ever.
At this time flexibility is the key: we are constantly assessing the current environment and adapting planning to meet the current requirements. Many of our clients are keen to see the return of face to face meetings but also understand that an online component is here to stay.
DCC&A now has the ability to deliver conferences in whichever format best suits our client needs.
