On behalf of the Australian Pain Society, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to join us in Canberra, Australia’s Capital, for the 41st Annual Scientific Meeting from 18 - 21 April 2021
Canberra is said to be derived from the local Ngunnawal word Kambera- translating to meeting place, and we invite you to meet with us here, in 2021, for a stimulating scientific program, to renew old acquaintances and make new ones, take up the many opportunities our city has to offer and we hope to emerge energised, refreshed and with stimulating new insights into the management of pain.
The Scientific Program Committee is thrilled to have procured three fabulous international speakers:
They will be joined by an inspiring range of national speakers who will provide a glance into some of the most complex, provoking, challenging and dynamic areas of pain management in an exciting program.
Canberra is host to a range of Australia’s national attractions and galleries including: Parliament House, Australian War Memorial, National Gallery of Australia, National Portrait Gallery, Questacon, the National Arbotetum and the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
Canberra is called the bush capital and is surrounded by readily accessible trails for walking, cycling, mountain biking and for those wishing to get outdoors. Come and see why Lonely Planet rated it the world’s third best city to visit in 2018 – the highest ever ranking for an Australian city.
Please join us for an inspiring program, visit the national galleries, meet new friends, find old ones, indulge in our great restaurants and soak up all this great city has to offer.
