Tim graduated from the University of Sydney in 1991 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. He then worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney until 1994, when he became Principal Physiotherapist at Camperdown Physiotherapy - a position he continues to hold. Tim’s work in the Private Practice has always involved inter-disciplinary pain management, now with the team at the Inner West Pain Centre. From 2005 to 2007, Tim completed a Masters of Pain Management with Honours through the University of Sydney. Upon completion of this degree, Tim has taught on this degree programme.
Tim currently site on the Board of the APS as Treasurer.
Tim was instrumental in the establishment of the Pain Special Interest Group of the Australian Physiotherapy Society and is currently Chair of the National Committee of this Network.
In 2021, Tim was the first physiotherapist in Australia to become a Specialist Pain Physiotherapist and be awarded Fellowship of the College of Physiotherapists.

Dr Frank Meumann is a general practitioner working in community general practice and the Persistent Pain Service in Hobart. He is a Senior Medical Educator with General Practice Training Tasmania and an adviser to the Tasmanian Department of Health on opioid prescribing.

Graduating from UTAS in 1992, Ms Bernadette (Bernie) Smith spent the next 10 years working as a Psychologist for Community Mental Health Services in Tasmania (Child & Adolescent/Adult Community).  Bernie has also worked for UTAS as honorary clinical lecturer with the School of Psychology and Rural Clinical School at the Cradle Coast Campus.

Bernie moved into private practice (Psychology Plus) in 2003 where she developed a special interest in the treatment of trauma, chronic pain and health education.  In 2016, Bernie completed her Master of Science in Medicine (Pain Management) through the University of Sydney.  Aside from consulting in private practice Bernie co-facilitates a federally funded Group Pain Management Program (OPAL) on the North West Coast of Tasmania and has done so for the past 8 years.  Bernie is also co-director of Pain Solutions a multi-disciplinary team working with compensable patients suffering chronic pain. 

Bernie is a big supporter of the Pain Revolution; she rode for the first time in 2018 and is currently a mentor for local pain educators through the local pain education program.

Megan is an APA titled pain physiotherapist. She has been working as a physio for 30 years, in hospital settings and private practice; she has worked both in private and public pain services. She completed the Masters of Science in Medicine, Pain Management and currently works at the Persistent Pain Service, Royal Hobart Hospital. She helped to establish the PPS Pain ECHO and is passionate about learning being practical and applicable.
