Submission Details

Abstract submissions for the INRC Annual Meeting 2013 are NOW OPEN!

Submission Deadline: 17 April 2013

Submitted abstracts must represent original work that has not been previously published.

Abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentation by the Organizing Committee unless the author indicates a specific preference for poster presentation during the online submission process.

Posters should be printed A0 portrait format (118.9cm high x 84.1cm wide, 46.8in high x 33.1in wide)

Instructions to Submit an Abstract

Abstracts should be submitted using the abstract sample as a guide for layout. Click here to download the sample.

  • Format – Microsoft Word document ONLY
  • Size - No more than 400 words including titles, authors, and spaces
  • Font – Times New Roman with 12pt font
  • Please define abbreviations in the abstract
  • Care should be taken to ensure high quality English expression and grammar
  • Abstract title should be in BLOCK CAPITALS
  • Authors’ names should be on the next line
  • In case of more than one author please place an asterix before the name of the presenting author
  • Do not include degrees or title
  • Authors’ organizations/institutions should appear on the next line and should include the suburb/city, state and country of the organizations/institutions
  • Please do not include graphs or tables in the abstract

Abstracts should include a Title that is succinct and descriptive of the study.  Please provide a brief rationale for the study and an indication of the methods used. The study should have a result, positive or otherwise.

All abstracts will be reviewed by the INRC Organizing Committee, who reserve the right to reject unsuitable contributions.


Authors must state any and all financial relationships that they or any of their collaborators have with commercial sponsors of the study presented, and declare any conflicts of interest.

At the time of submission, authors will be asked to affirm that any experiments involving humans or animals and have been approved by appropriate ethics committees.
