Tips and Tricks in the World of Neuromodulation

As we work towards coming back together in 2021, NSANZ are calling on their colleagues to share their favourite Tips and Tricks at the upcoming meeting.

Perhaps you have a unique patient positioning technique, a faster way to anchor leads – or a completely new and exciting way to do something else that you’d like to share with your colleagues!

Accepted Tips and Tricks presenters will be offered a 60 second presentation slot during a plenary session to present their idea, there is potential for Q&A if time allows.

Tips and Tricks will be judged by an expert panel, with the best idea winning a fantastic prize!

Submission Format

  • Maximum 300 words 
  • Only online submissions will be accepted
  • Submitting author must also be the presenter at the conference
  • Submissions must include a heading, author’s name and affiliation/s 
  • Submissions are not required to use the traditional abstract format 
  • Submissions should include a one sentence, “Take Home Message” 
  • Late submissions will not be accepted

 Presentation Format

  • Maximum of 2 PPT slides
  • Speakers will be given 60 seconds to present. This is a fast-moving session – music will start to play at the end of your 60 seconds and the Chair will move onto the next presenter.

 This session is designed to be fun and engaging, allowing you to impart your best tips and tricks for the benefit of your colleagues and patients! We look forward to speakers bringing something exciting, punchy and different to the conference.

Best Tip & Trick Award

To raise, the stakes, the NSANZ will be offering a prize for the most valuable tip & trick! The prize for the besttip or trick will be a full refund of your conference registration for NSANZ 2021. Assessment will be based on usefullness and presentation. The judges will be appointed by the Conference Committee and their decision will be final. The awards will be presented in the Closing Plenary of the ASM.

All presenters must register for the conference by the Early Bird Registration Deadline – Monday 5 July 2021, or the submission will be withdrawn from the program. 

There is no funding or discounted registrations available.
